you can get the license on your smart phone and the agents who have checked here for licenses are OK just showing him the PDF document on your phone so make sure it is in your photo file to pull it up in case of a check.

for info & pics of our little paradise & whale watching info

There are on-again-off-again problems with some of the websites ..
Perhaps this additional info can be helpful.
Prices not the same on each site .. YMMV

Question, we plan on shore-fishing a lot this winter, but, have a folding Porta Bote, a ten footer with an electric trolling motor/oars. Would we be required to have a fishing license when fishing from our boat?

Uhhh... what about your particular setup would seem to you to exempt you from the regs?

The fact that you can fold up and stow your boat?

Isn't it still a boat when you are fishing out of it?

I guess if you leave your boat folded up on the shore, and you fish from atop it there, you may not need a fishing licence...

I had some trouble on the website...it ain't Amazon.

Definitely take some screen shots of the receipt and the actual license in case they don't print out properly or they don't send the email. Mine didn't print properly but I have the receipt. Lord knows that probably won't be enough if asked... "But senor, you do not have the actual license." "But I do have how it printed out from the government website and I have the next page which is the receipt showing I paid the Mexican government for the fishing license." "But senor, you do not have the license". "But I have proof I paid for it and the dates it is good for!". "But, you do not have the license".
