Old Mill (Molino Viejo) Still Open?

I have heard rumors that the Old Mill Hotel in San Quintin is no longer open. Is there any truth in this? Thank you.

Just stayed there about a month ago because Jardines was full.
Don't know about now..... still running and they are serving food separate from The Old Mill restaraunt

Has the son of the original owner of Don Eddie's next door milked that cow to death yet?

Every beautiful beach in the world needs a few condo towers - NOT.

Thank you, Alan. Can you tell me a bit about Jardines? It sounds like that was your first choice.

I've spent a LOT of time in San Quintin the last couple years.

The Rodriguez family (Los Pinos) bought the Old Mill bar/restaurant maybe 5 to 8 years years ago and renamed it to its spanish name Molino Viejo - they worked with the govt and had a huge deck and facilities added to make the area an event spot. The road being paved from HWY 1 was also a perk of this project.
The restaurant serves traditional Mexican fare and is pretty good IMO.

The Old Mill Hotel is owned in partnership. Javier started Eucalipto Restaurant & Bar and it has become the premier dining spot in San Quintin. Jardines is always a good choice for every day dining however.

Don Eddies is still hanging in there and Tony Marquez (Don Eddie's son) is trying to keep it going - it is for sale though.

Nice video to see the Old Mill/Molino Viejo and the big deck outside, ending with ceviche made on the fishing boat!

I ate there in 2017 and the lobster burritos were great and cheap!
