Lots of interesting bits of info not included in Clavigero. Interesting for baja history buffs anyway.

For example, the one cow or bull (Del Barco does not say which) that was being kept at Calamajue was starving so they dragged it up to a small meadow at the top of the Sierra La Assemblea. The poor thing froze to death the first day.
