Observant ones would note the microphone with DAKAR viewable...
Excitement comes from the posting showing what and who the poster is excited about.
Moto rider first in his class
Congratulations to those who accomplish!

I am so happy for Ricky, especially after what happened last year at Dakar (mechanical failure due to bad repairs made).

I got to know Ricky in person as he was on Trail of Missions Recon as a guest of Cameron Steele. Here he is last May at Mulegé's mission and the Visita de San Pablo:

Good showing for americans
For the first time in history American’s have won their class in Dakar! Congratulations to Ricky Brabec and Casey Currie! You have represented American off-road well!
Ricky is also the current Mint 400 moto champion!

On 4 Wheels, Robby Gordon is the first American to win a Stage(2004) he has 13 stage wins, lead the overall classification (2004 Led 2 days) & in Class; He won the OP1 Class in 2007 with the Hummer. I believe he has a total of 3 OP1 Wins. BJ Baldwin has one in 2008 and Blade Hildebrand in 2019.
