Southern Baja - Pescadero / Todos Santos Surf fishing report this Past week Feb. 12th to Feb. 19th

Hola All: Here is my surf fishing report for the pas 10 days. The surf has been on the small side, good for the surf fishing. Hooked a large Dorado early in the week, did not land. The smaller Roosterfish seem to be moving in, landed one about 15# - released. Hooked and landed a Yellowtail, always a nice surprise. Consistently able to scratch out a handful of Sierra most days, with this past Tuesday, some of the larger models came through. Would like to post a few video clips, haven't been able to. I do post a few on Instagram bk_elskel. Here are the the daily fish counts and a couple of photos. Tight Lines Amigos, bk

Wed. - 2 Sierra -- 1 large Dorado hooked, and lost - ouch, jumped about 15 times and finally spit the treble hook, looked to be 30 #
Thur. - 2 Sierra
Fri. - 4 Sierra
Sat. - Nada - Not even a bite
Mon. - 1 Yellowtail (oh ya), 1 Sierra, 1 Roosterfish - released, 1 Bonita
Tues. - 4 Big Sierra - super aggressive - cool day, 1 15# Roosterfish - released
Wed. - 2 Sierra, 1 Rooster - released, 1 Bonita

Dorado hookup from shore must have been a blast.

Very nice!

Thanks for posting the report.

Takes a lot of effort, patience and skill to catch fish such as those from the surf. Well done!

Anyone can catch fish in a boat but only \"El Pescador Grande\" can get them from the beach. I love the beach.barefoot, soft sand and smooth water and of course fish.....your a lucky man....……..I have always enjoyed your reports don't stop:)

I hope when my time comes the old man will let me bring my rod and the water will be warm and clear.
