San Diego to La Bocana, BCS. Full speed ahead!

Crossed at Tecate on 5/26/20.

FMM's were being issued.

Waved through all Military checkpoints along the way.

Easy-peasy as it gets.

Oh wait a second... you can't get away with such a tiny post, LOL!!!

Did you go via San Felipe or via Ensenada?
Did you get your temperature checked, where?
Were you questioned if you have a home in Baja or if you were an essential traveler?

Tecate to Ensenada. The fish market was open. (Yay!)

Temps were taken at Colonet and El Rosario.

No questions were asked about anything.

According to our mechanico (he gets around), there were 4 at-gunpoint highway robberies between GN and Vizcaino last week.

All late at night.

Be safe.

Did you think he was just passing a story and embellishing it or did you feel it was true? Thank you

True or not, regulars to Baja know that they shouldn't drive at night anyway.

I would lean towards the robberies being more true than not as in the last copy of Mexico News Daily there was an article on how crime has risen significantly...
Understandable with SO meny people hurting now.

Be safe out there Feathers....et al

Since I've given up all hope, I feel much better

He's not a gossip, nor prone to exaggerate. I believe him.

FYI

For those unaware, Northbound traffic thru Tecate is currently restricted to commercial traffic only.

Southbound traffic thru Tecate is open to all. Viva Baja! Happy Trails!
