So, I heard this morning that folks are coming to Baja via San Felipe to avoid Ensenada where, supposedly, they are monitoring who can go further south. They said there is no check at all via SF.

There's a police checkpoint at the military checkpoint where hwy 3 intersects hwy 5. Neighbor was required to show residency and proof of a home last week. But enforcement seems to vary by time of day. Recent FB post said something about stepped up enforcement at Mexicali crossings. Have to go north next week so we'll see what happens then.
