population to heed the indications of the Civil Protection authorities, mainly in Mexicali and its valley.

It has been 100f, plus or minus a couple of degrees here in Grass Valley for a while now. Not too bad if you can hide from the heat, but the crews
fighting the "Jones fire" in steep terrain just a couple of miles north of me must be suffering!
My house is 1/4 south of the mandatory evacuation line! Fortunately, the local airport is a base for the air tankers that seem to be helping win this
battle.
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

WOW - thats hot. I'm complaining when its in the 90's F. Coming home last weekend passing through Walden Colorado it was 31 degrees F. at 7:00 am when
I stopped for a stretch.
