I invited two other 4x4 to go on pole line run .As my back up as luck would have it the bronco broke down. Due to one China man part so it was my responsibility to tow him out. if I remember there was a v8 powered ranger and a blazer broke down also. They where buddy's so they did get out on there own. Correct me david if I'm wrong . Was it the ranger that dropped the whole exhaust set up? Something with the old blazer acting up.

Hi Larry,
As I recall, Nomad MICK was in the Ranger and it had transmission fluid issues. Not sure about the Blazier, but we also lost John M (and his Tacoma) who, being the super guy he is, stayed with the other two rigs returning to Rio Hardy/ Hwy. 5, from our first night camp at the bottom of the summit/ start of the Pole Line Road section.

Here are some photos I took at Cohabuzo Junction (where we connected with MICK, 4x4abc, and others. The last photos are nearing the summit junction of all the vehicles in Ken's posse:

Ken, Never give out the time/date of your trips publicly. Or keep the time/date very broad except for those invited to attend.

When a trip is listed with JustRuns 4WD club of San Diego, the time/date and trip details must be furnished. Here are just a few photos from the years of Baja 4WD Jeep runs.

Then don’t list your trip!
Just invite people you want to be with.
Why invite strangers?
And why would you want 10 or 20 vehicles? sounds like a dusty trip, and a crowded campground.

Woke!

To goat's point, you have a large enough mailing list of past participants that you can just email them.
See how many want to do another run with you.
Only if none or too few of them reply do you need to seek 'new blood'. What is your ideal number of participants?

4 vehicles is a good number when we are on bikes. 2 guys go for help, parts, gas, etc while 1 guy stays with disabled bike and rider.
