Anyone have bicycle connections?

A crazy thought but I would like to get new little kid bikes for Christmas for Tidiana and Abraham's children.

Does anyone have a connection at a bike shop in San Diego? Give me a name and I am happy to call and see what I can drum up!

Jireth (girl) 9
Manuel 7
Isaac 6
Ismael 5
Genesis (girl) 4

The good thing is that they will grow into their brother's bikes LOL

If anyone is coming south and can bring the bikes down, please let me know.

Happy early Thanksgiving and I apologize for already mentioning Christmas but I gotta get a jump on this to make it happen!

Each of you should know that I really appreciate your patience and kindness and generosity and mostly your friendship over the last 15 years!

Blanca

A photo of all the Munchkins!

I realized after I posted, that some might not know the background story on Tidiana and Abraham.

This is a local, extremely economically challenged family with 7 lovely children. They live in our village (La Bocana) which is 15 minutes north of Punta Abreojos and 1 1/2 hours south of Bahia Asuncion.

They live in a shack, where our old dump used to be, no elec, no water (still) and dirt floors. I have a big dream to build them a home and a smaller dream to build them a temporary home. News on that smaller dream soon.

Here is a photo of Mom, Tidiana, when I gave her a fish (pre covid).

I still have the bike I bought my kid when he was about 12. Mountain bike. I'll get it serviced and bring it down the next time I come.

ah crap, i could have bought a lot of 25 bikes from the GSA auction site . They were left in Yosemite, pretty basic stuff, but serviceable. I couldn't figure out what to do with 25 extra bikes so i passed, I should have loaded em up and hauled em down to LB, BA area and had em passed out. dang it
