Anyone driven from Vegas or Phoenix to Telluride?

What's the most scenic route?

To Hell you ride?

I did not make that up, I understand it was the old miner's assessment of the location.

I can't help with a route recommendation, it has been close to forty years since I skied there, and my trip started from Tahoe.

If you are at the ski village, you're going to be sleeping over 9,000 feet, and skiing as high as 13,000. The Plunge will test your sea level lungs and legs!

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

this time of year, flying is better. each route would be miserable trip if driving and trying to stay on schedule through snow

shorty, you running out of money and trying to do trip on the cheap?

x2

or, 17, 89, 160.

Advise you check weather in advance from Flagstaff beyond. Winter conditions.

If you take Paul's route, Meteor Crater is an hour West of Holbrook (Winslow).

What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

At least your dog is dressed for the weather. My girl has such short hair that mosquitos bite right through it and I can see the welts they leave!

Despite that, she loves snow, but hates rain.

long hair dogs are all wrong for baja. I've spent hours removing stickers and crap from their coats.....not to mention dealing with hot weather.

Looks like a puppy mill/breeder dog.

People buying dogs from breeders is wrong. Adopt from a shelter, or if in Baja, adopt a stray off the street. Buying dogs from breeders, puppy mills and pet stores is morally wrong on every level.

Adopt, don’t shop.

His winter coat just grew in. Much longer now. I'll post a pic soon.
