What’s the Latest on Essential Travel?

I’ve read the previous posts regarding crossing into Baja through Mexicali, didn’t see a recent report.
Planning to cross mid April with an RV pulling a boat and a pick up truck pulling a boat.
Obvious to any observer that it’s a pleasure excursion and only meets the “mental stability” essential travel requirement.
Should we expect any issues or problems when crossing at Mexicali?
I appreciate your patience and input regarding this inquiry. 🤠

Today, it was announced that US extended the previous order against non-essential border crossings, but that seemed to apply to foreigners non-essential travel to enter USA, not residents returning home, and is not a restriction to enter Mexico. The interpretation also seems different for air versus land travel. Air requires a negative covid test to return while land does not.

Go and have fun. Use the same common sense safety you practice at home.

Post a story and some pictures!

Absolutely! Using common sense here in the US and will continue to do so in Baja!
Beach camping somewhere around Gonzaga, possibly Beluga.
Will maintain our social distance respectfully.
Most of the time in the water!
Thx for the info andinput. 👍🏽
