Diver

Some very goods points, for everyone to ponder, & ponder & Ponder.

Ponder, Ponder, Ponder......

Diver - I never cease to be amazed at the thinking processes of Lefties who confuse fantasy with reality. They're the ones who drool in loving appreciation of John Lennon's "Imagine" . Luckily, they are also the ones who tend to die defenseless. My life experiences don't come from TV shows.

"A kid breaking into my house seeking trinkets" ? Yes, he will die and that's tough. Bad behaviour leads to bad consequences. That teenager in Los Angeles who went joyriding in someone else's car and was shot dead when he tried to run over a policeman received his just reward.

I don't know about you, but I've never had or heard of a neighbor BREAKING into someone's house to warn them of anything.

Live according to your code of conduct and I'll live according to mine. As stated earlier, the only person who could die at my hands will be a bad guy. It's the Looney Lefties who make mistakes. I remember years ago when Carl Rowan, a Leftist Editorial columnist for the New York Times who had ranted anti-gun rhetoric for years, accidentally shot a teenager in his back yard with an UNREGISTERED gun he owned for self-defense. Hypocrisy reigns supreme among Leftists.

Speaking of which, our Rabidly Anti-Gun Senator, Dianne (Not so) Feinstein has packed a concealed 38 spl (legally) ever since her City official days in San Francisco. Good enough for her, but not for us.

That's right there willy, they should all be shot because they don't agree with you! Then, you and that idiot president would have a perfect world, right?

JR Rant and Ramble

I am never angry or disappointed when faced with marooonic behavior by someone I consider a marooon. It simply reinforces my value judgements. In your case, the poor reading comprehension is once again evident. I have never stated that anyone who disagrees with me shot be shot dead, only that criminal actions deserve punishment. It's only in your Bamboo-sodden Brain (?) that statement appears.

I'm sure that MY President could match his educational record with yours, but WHO CARES. He is president for a lot LONGER and I know that it's going to bug you every moment. That's satisfaction enough for me. I do practice Schadenfreude with gusto.

Wandering

This thread is wandering quite a bit as they tend to do and I'm as responsible as anyone, but Hey, that's OK.

The comment about Forensics brought up another thought. Our great scientific advancements have created a criminal justice conundrum in which NOBODY should ever be convicted on circumstantial evidence provided they have the funds to hire the best defense.

During the Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, it was pointed out that the longlife of forensic evidence made it impossible to explain EVERYTHING found and, consequently, a good defense could concentrate on what could not be explained by the prosecution. A more recent example is the Robert Blake trial where the statement was made that the TV series CSI had made it difficult for the prosecution to prove their case. On the TV show, minute specks of material point exactly to the culprit, whereas in real life, it doesn't happen. The jury expects the kind of decisive determination that TV provides in fiction.
Of course, in the Robert Blake case, there were a lot of us who figured he probably did it, but that was Ok because some people richly deserve to die.
