Mikes Sky Ranch <> Coyote trail current conditions

Does anyone have current information on the conditions of the trail between Mikes and Coyote? I'm planning on running through there next month with a couple of trucks (Taco and LC100) after watching the B1K race pass by. We'd be starting from the coast near Camalu in the morning and hoping to get through the trail, past Mike's, across the valley and up to Laguna Hanson that evening to catch up with friends at a rancho. I've heard that trail has deteriorated over the years and is rugged and confusing now. If it's too much to bite off, we'll take the LdG cut-off instead and save this trail for another adventure.

I like to explore remote dirt tracks and beaches.
