David, I beat you to a Mission! I'm guessing Santa Barbara.

If your picture is of the Santa Barbara Mission, It looks like I was at another. I am sure it was close to the Southern California area. Now I am not sure where we were.

Why do you say that? It looks the same to me unless I'm missing something.

I never made it to Baja until 1986, but my parents took our family to many cathedrals and missions on the mainland in 1957, and 1959. I was ten years old on the first trip, but I still have many memories about those epic, three month road trips!

I was most focusing on the first pic you posted.

Maybe your other shots are from a different side of the building?

The evidence was overwhelming until I came up with this photo. Steps up to the "arches." No steps in JZ great photo. Are we back to step zero?

Uncle, I give in, Santa Barbara it is! Makes sense as we lived in Los Angeles. That was a big trip back then, 100 miles each way with no freeways.

You guys should work for Google research as I can't get anything past you!

Anyone else want to see my baby pictures? I think not.

That is awesome. Did you make it to San Carlos / Guaymas?

Where all did you go? Any photos?
