Watched an episode of Perry Mason the other day.
They were trying to reach the owner of a cabin where the murder occurred. They said he was vacationing somewhere in Lower California.

Right... I remember an episode filmed at or pretending to be at an Ensenada beach motel.
Right now, the Mrs. and I are watching every episode (in order) when there's nothing else on or DVR'd ... I think we are about Episode 33 of Season 1?

Third season, episode 17 was the cabin episode. Mr. Roper from Three's Company is in it.
Never watched Perry Mason before. Find it fascinating to see SoCal back in the day.

See you added a few more pictures and a couple more captions. 
This caption - Here, the Gardner caravan is at Bahía Concepción. - and the picture with it make me think about what ESG called The Point of the
Picture of Death in his 1948 book The Land of Shorter Shadows.
It was a tight fit for his big Dodge truck and I believe someone was injured when they were going through that section. Sometime after that they widen
the road through that section and some people wondered what ESG was referring to when they went through there a few years later.
I think he even wrote in a latter book how some other travelers made fun of him by overblowing the narrowness of the road along Bahia Concepción.

Having the ability to make web pages, easily, sure allows me to share what I have been able to collect, research, and experience... as well as my Baja
collections.
Besides the new pages I have made so far, I also have been improving the old Viva Baja pages, fixing spelling or typos, converting GPS waypoints so
they all are in standard format and using the standard map datum (WGS84).
Many of the old trip photos were pretty small and I have enlarged them, too. More maps and map links added to the Maps section.
Now, to condense the size of Viva Baja for page viewing, I am moving my many trip photo pages that are listed on Viva Baja, off the home page, in
groups... such as all 1999-2004 trips in one link and 2005-2007 in the next link, etc. This was a suggestion made here on Nomad. See below that part
of the page...

Getting the blimp down there and back would be a Baja adventure story all of its own. That must have taken some pull in the right places.

It was indeed an effort... know the right people and having that kind of pull!
The flight was featured in Erle's 1968 Baja book, Mexico's Magic Square. Choral Pepper was on the ride and told me of how much it was a special deal
for her to be invited. On my Choral Pepper page (linked in the ESG page), are photos she took from up in the blimp.
