Anybody know if Rancho Escondido is still renting rooms ? I have been trying to contact them through Facebook but getting no reply.

Thanks… Dan

Maybe is NOT an answer!

Only once is the last few years have I found it open. I saw something about it maybe a year ago offering horseback trips to nearby petroglyphs - so....maybe is the best I can do.

West toward El Arco is the ranch at Piedra Blanca - meals, cabins, sometimes gasoline. It's about 20 miles from Rancho Escondido.

I went there twice in 2017 during my research trips (Jan. and June)... Closed both times and looked deserted. Yet, since then Shari has been there and others. A funny note, their Facebook page address originally had BCS in the name link... but it is not in Baja California Sur. It was changed, dropping the S.

We had a meal at Piedra Blanca last time we were on that road. Good food, great people.

Yes, that Rancho Escondido. Was locked closed in January and June of 2017. Here it was in Jan 2017 (locked):

Did you ever get ahold of them via Facebook? I have been trying without any luck.
