There is no screening process, as usernames are issued immediately. The only limiting factor being some pre-defined censorship on those usernames, usually to avoid offensive language.

This isn't the first time such has taken place. I believe the first time was when there was "Big Al" and "BigAl".... and I think I upset people in my handling of that situation somehow. oops.

I'll see if I can find an amicable solution.

Thanks Doug, at least you are aware of the situation.
Not a major deal, just an annoyance.

Anyway, if it gets to be a problem (and Capt. Mike sez it won't) then I have been contemplating some new names to change over to...

such as:

Nomadd
DavidOK
JRHaha
Capt.Mick
BajaVidal

You get the drift, I am sure.
Anyway, we are off to "Cirio Country" in just a few hours and this will just be a small memory.

Gee, I like David OK... How about David AOK?

Perhaps the best example was 'Baja Taco' (Mexitron's friend) who kindly changed to 'Taco de Baja' when he learned of 'bajataco' (Chris in Arizona)... Chris' web site is http://www.bajataco.com , so the all lower case, no caps 'bajataco' was made his handle here.

Maybe 'Runner de Baja' for the new Baja Runner?
