I would be interested in pictures and more detail. What is the name of the community at the El dorado Ranch. (it appears that they are zoned differently and all have names0 Might be able to drive down while you are there to see.
thanks,

Mike,

So sorry that our myriad trips past El Dorado we didn't touch base with you. We're on our way down this next week--maybe Mon or Tue. We'll swing by.

BTW, off-topic, but we saw Sideways last night. What a kick! Doesn't make us want to move back to the SYV though. Daughter tells us L.O. is CRAZY now. :O

Hate to hear that Mike - I've been looking over at your place each time I drive up the road wondering when you'd be down. Come on by when you're here and I expect I'll stop when I see your cars. I'll be gone the 8th & 9th so after that.

Mike, I think I still have the GPS of your property saved from our wonderful 2001 President's Day Weekend 'Matomi Gang' event... which was HQ'd at your desert castle! Let me know if you want it to give exact directions to those so enabled. There might me a photo at or inside your place, as well, in one of my web pages... It is so nice, I would buy it, if I could.

Miguel,

Time to hang onto Baja property amigo. It's only going to increase in value over the next year or two!!!! Send Charlie south, we're adding a bedroom for him.

Using the Google satellite map and Bill's info regarding obtaning lat/long from it and Mexray's conversion site, I believe your place is at 31? 6.34'
114? 54.935'

We can check it tomorrow when I get backdown there or check with DavidK's coords.

Mike...

Nice pic of the Casita...sorry to hear it has to be handed down to another caretaker...

I think I found it on Goggle's Sat pages...the red tile roof stands out against all those shacks...er, 'remote mansions' around you... Copy & Paste this long URL in your browser:

http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=31.105717,-114.915576&spn...

I can fondly remember your hosting the infamous 'Matomi' gang a few years ago - had a great time...sorry again I almost burned the casita to the ground when I was using your propane oven for snacks, and set the dial to what I thought was a 'Fahrenheit' setting, only to discover a few minutes later the knob was calibrated in 'centigrade'....yikes...that cheese sure was melted! :O

Now if you could only move Casa El Camote down to the beach...Party Time!

BTW...in your first msg above, if you have multiple 'edits' to your message, you can delete the previous "[Edited on 4-21-2005 by El Camote]" notes and only then show only the latest one...just a trick I learned when doing same...
