Anybody die yet? Got video links to bloody scene(s)? Some say motor sports aren’t interesting to watch unless there is some carnage, some blood,… I think violence in sports was the reason they invented the instant replay, eh? It’s what sells ads!

12:16 PM
3x, 7x, 4x at 830.9 miles
83 Luke, 23 Dan, 43 Roeseler, 19 Tim Herbst, 21L Giistavo Vid.., etc
7 Menzies and 16 Steele missing now
Luke 83 replaced drive shaft and lost the lead after 4:20PM. Now it looks like he is heading for the win.

Weather man report that the driveshaft was replace was incorrect and was not involved. Actually the tire failed and got wrapped around the brake damaging a brake line. It did not take long to fix. Video on race-dezert.com shows the fix.
Turns out the finish is the same as the order at midnight.

Thanks Jim.
The page I was seeing had far-different overall times than the more standard 16+ hours from your page. I deleted that observation.

SCORE is riddled with inconsistencies. There were two different versions of scheduled times (the web site is different from their press release).

I saw a few interesting injuries. Of FB there is vid of someone missing a leg, quite gruesome.
I see an El Cajon bad guy got some karma. The guy was briefly famous last year when he tried to house sexually violent predators in his rental house in my area — I see he got all busted up and is hospitalized — karma sometimes gets it right!
