We are starting to plan a trip for June. Fly into either Barcelona or Lisbon first. Most likely Barcelona.

Thinking Marrakesh for sure. Then taking a trip out to the Sahara desert for a night or two. Otherwise wide-open.

Anyone have suggestions?

Fez is far less touristy and far more authentic than Marrakesh.

JZ,

All the Canadians that I worked with years ago said that they went there for the Hash! Best in the world was their opinion!

So visit the Atlas Mountains too!

Is that what Crosby, Stills and Nash were talking about....riding on the Marrakesh Express?

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

I know what you mean. We always try to avoid the tourist spots.

Definitely want visit some low key places on the Atlantic coast. How many times have you been and where/when.

I told my wife we were going to take the kids to all 7 continents. This will be 5 for them.

Surabi,

Jump in here. You’re probably the expert. Tell JZ the virtues of Moroccan Hash!

Yes that song might have been written after a trek through the Atlas Mountains or talking so some who had.

Half pint:
June will be getting toasty. Desert likely too warm. Mountains may be tolerable if you stay up high. Stick to the coast/beach in hot summer.

Food’s pretty good.

Don’t plan your trip during Ramadan.

Woke!

It will be 90's and dry in the desert. Mid to high 70's at night. Tolerable.

One of my biggest regrets is not watching Messi play in Barcelona. I went there six years in a row from 2010 to 2015.
