Here in San Luis Obispo County we have a special court for Vets who have run afoul of the law. Their service is taken into account and support services are provided. Not all avoid jail but many do. Unfortunately such consideration was not given to these deported vets even though they had legal status and served honorably. Personally, I think it is disgraceful.
