La Ventana and vicinity lodging?

Its been years since I was to La Ventana. I will be going on a road trip from Loreto to Martin Verdugos on the East Cape then onto the La Ventana area. I previously stayed at Baja Joes and I know that there is now many more options for lodging. We are looking for maybe a step up from Baja Joes but not at a resort. Any suggestions? An Air B&B would do but we are looking for something on the beach. Maybe 4-5 nights at Verdugos, 2 or 3 in the La Ventana area then onto Scorpion Bay for 2-3 nights then returning home to Loreto. I have a place that I like in Scorpion but not familiar with La Ventana since progress set. I have a powerful 4 w/d SUV and will be towing a flat bed trailer with a RZR.
Anyone, anyone?

We stayed at Palapas Ventana a couple of years ago. They have cabana-type accomodations - roomy and comfortable. Restaurant on site. It's on the beach with steps down to the beach. Let them know about your trailer when/if you make a reservation there.

Another step up from Palapas is Todo Bien. More like a regular hotel feel. Spacious rooms. Also on the beach with steps down to the beach. Not sure about the restaurant - I think they were just getting it going when we were there, but I imagine you can at least get a drink and snack there. Again, let them know about your trailer if you make a reservation there.

Those are the 2 that I know of. Have never stayed at Baja Joe's, but the managers are a super nice couple and he brews some great beer. At least go there for a beer!
