shooting in Loreto?


I heard there was a shooting in Loreto. Three people dead. Don't know if it's true or not. Has anyone heard anything about this?

For those of you that were around for the demise of the Arellano Cartel or dismemberment as the case may be, we can be assured as is pretty obvious all over Mexico that Chapo's capture has caused and is causing a very similar competitive reaction between the various factions. It isn't as if a Cartel foot soldier is going to be seeking real work.

apparently a shoot out this morning in Miramar:

One of those identified was originally from San Quintín, Baja California, while the other of those executed was originally from Loreto, which came within the criminal records, for having a history of the crime against healthLoreto, Baja California Sur, (BCS). After an attack against 3 men, in the Miramar colony in Loreto, during the morning of this Sunday, January 29, the State Attorney General's Office reported that at least 2 of the 3 executed were already identified , Pointing out that one of them had a criminal record for the crime against health.According to the official communiqué of the judicial unit, the events took place around 10:40 am on Jureles and Gaviotas streets of the aforementioned colony, when a series of detonations for firearms were reported to the authorities. What was presented to corroborate the facts.After being present at the site, they were able to verify that the body of a male person was dead in the middle of the street, while the bodies of two more men were inside the indicated address, so the site was cordoned off That were raised by Forensic Medical Service personnel, taking them to the corresponding facilities, to carry out the necropsy of Law.Likewise, the experts assigned to the Office of the Attorney General found in the house, several percutidos caps, which were of different calibers, so they were secured and transferred to the facilities of the Department of Experiential Services, to perform a correct analysis.The judicial unit indicated that at least 2 of those executed were already identified, one of them 37 years old, originally from San Quintín, Baja California, while another was recognized as a 25-year-old man, who Was Loretano, who had a criminal record for the crime against health.Finally, the agent of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Common Jurisdiction, which belongs to the Specialized Unit in the Investigation of Diverse Crime and its Judicialization, opened the investigation folder to be able to integrate both the data from the expert reports and those of the necropsy , Hoping that within said inquiries, it will be possible to know the identity of the third deceased, as well as the criminal motive that would take their life.

Colonia Miramar is on the west (inland) side of the highway, opposite 'downtown' Loreto, correct?
