Bahia Asuncion Surf torneo pics

last weekend was the 10th anniversary of our local surf club Jurjos surf tournament. It was a great family event even though the swell was the smallest it had been for weeks. Participants came from Abreojos(who won 1st prize), Bahia Tortugas, Ensenada, Rosarito, La Paz and the USA.
A big shout out to Mark Cole who donated a bunch of great stuff for the prizes!!! the sexy board got alot of laughs.

Here are some photos of the day.

it was fun to have the Acadist family at the event! the only non local gringos to attend!

That is so cool Shari! I was on the fence about sending that board down but after thinking about Mexican sense of humor I figured it would work out. Thanks for all the photos and for making my parents comfortable. Their Asuncion visit was the highlight of their trip.

The tournaments are now held at Pta.Loma between Asuncion & San Roque...I think 2nd & 3rd were from Ensenada and Mambo donated his prize to guys from here....nice gesture.
Now for the Fiestas this weekend...gearing up for the horse races later today...I'm feeling very lucky!!!
