The airlines certainly have a lot of airplanes sitting around doing nothing. Might as well try to create some new routes.
Maybe Alaska Airlines will be flying into Guerrero Negro soon.

Alaska Airlines resuming at least a couple of flights a week into La Paz would be a nice touch toward serving the needs of their customers!

Great news for us here in central Baja that there will be more flights from other destinations into Loreto which is only 6 hours from Asuncion so
doable. This will be nice for whale season as folks from Arizona & TExas can get here easier and quicker.

That is great news. Although AA is by far the worst US airline other than the Spirits of the world.
Would love to see flights going from LAX to LA Paz.

What I could not find, is if it is a direct flight. As far as I know, La Paz still requires clearing customs in some other Mex airport before flying
on to LAP.

From Dallas Fort Worth to Phoenix to Loreto to La Paz and back.
Once a week on Saturdays.
This is the info that was in the link I posted from the Dallas Newspaper.

Thanks Mula! From this line I read, I thought that Loreto and La Paz were separate flights......"American’s La Paz flight will operate from Dec. 19
through April and then again from June through September. The Loreto flight will go from Dec. 19 through May, both on a Bombardier CRJ-700."
What I was questioning, was if it is once again possible to fly directly to LAP from an airport outside of Mexico?

Not bad. LTO to PHX, one way nonstop, Dec 17, $148 including all fees.
Thanks for the info!
Sure beats LTO-TIJ, CBX, transport to SAN, then SAN-PHX.
If you understood that last line, you've been doing your research!

You are speaking my language!! How about...
SJC, SJD and SJO?
I have found the fast way to see what airlines fly into a certain city is by doing a simple Google search. Just type the three letter airport codes.
An example would be RNO - LTO. From there you see all airlines (and their connecting cities) then you can go to your preferred airline or travel
website to find the price you want to pay.

I did a similar search, and found that there are only 11 destinations that have a direct flight from La Paz....all of them in Mexico!
https://www.flightsfrom.com/LAP/destinations
I hope that the new flights being introduced will mean a return of an international customs facility at LAP, and possibly more airlines will add
direct flights.
