Something brewing to the South
This weather system popped up overnight just west of Manzanillo. So far there are no models predicting a direct hit on Baja, but it will almost
certainly affect the weather by late next week.

"NOAA's 2023 eastern Pacific Hurricane Season outlook indicates an above-normal season is most likely (55% chance). There is a 35% chance of a
near-normal season and only a 10% chance of a below-normal season.See NOAA definitions of above-, near-, and below-normal seasons. The eastern Pacific
hurricane region covers the eastern North Pacific Ocean east of 140°W and north of the equator.
The 2023 outlook calls for a 70% probability for each of the following ranges of activity:
14-20 Named Storms
7-11 Hurricanes
4-8 Major Hurricanes"

What a difference a day makes! It looks like Eugene will pass just west of Cabo today, not a direct impact but still quite close. I just hope it
brings some rain.

Just a bit gusty at our place north of Todos Santos today. Weather is warm enough to be pleasant but not too hot, and so far the storm season has been
significantly milder than expected. Rain would definitely be appreciated tho.

A dozen would have been a generous estimate here.
Todos Santos got a little more because there were actually mud puddles there.
