La Recua

I recently had an opportunity to watch the documentary film "La Recua." I'm wondering how many other Nomads have seen this film?

If you're wondering what I'm talking about, click on the link below to access the film's web site. Then watch the 2 minute embedded preview.

https://larecua.com/

This documentary totally reminds me of the book "Last of the Californios." The producer of this documentary has been traveling around southern Baja, sharing this film with the locals. Check out their official Facebook page, and you'll see where they've been.

If you've seen this film, please share your thoughts with the rest of your fellow Nomads.

Peace, Love and Fish Tacos!

saw it - best Baja film ever

if only they would make easier to see it
world love to watch it again

followed the actions on Google Earth
they indeed followed Camino Real - well, mostly

they display some strange location names
I could no get the makers to respond on their web site
by now I forgot the names
both were between Comondu and San Javier

Hola! Thanks for the mention. Keep your Ojos out on the website LaRecua.com and on our FB page too for upcoming streamings. https://www.facebook.com/LaRecuaMovie

Hoping to share a streaming over Easter week and a bit beyond perhaps. Look for the links in those two places.

We need to do a PBS run before we can finally distribute to the public... looking forward to getting there soon!

Want to watch it live on a big screen? Dario Higuera and I will both be presenting at the Ajo, AZ Tri-National Sonoran Desert Symposium March 5th.
Adelante!

Hola! Trudi, I presume?

I hope to see La Recua again when it streams. My rancher/vaquero friends in BC will be delighted to see the film when it is distributed to the public.
Thanks again for your wonderful presentation at the San Diego Natural History Museum.
Please keep us advised when it schedules.
Saludos.
