Cha Cha Van Wormer

My friends in La Paz tell me that Cha Cha has passed away. Those of us that visited

Los Barrilles in the early days would remember Bobby Van Wormer and his wife as

major players in the areas development. Cha Cha was very business savvy and ran

a tight ship.

Rest In Peace

Cha Cha

The great days of Palmas de Cortez. Bobby cheerfully signed my copy of The Incredible Sea of Cortez.

That is a great story. I met Bobby sr. and Eddie when I first came to Baja 20+ years ago, but was not aware of the history.
