Munchies, Costa Azul

Across the highway from Las Olas, Costa Azul, San Jose del Cabo, in the mini-mall housing Costa Azul surf shop. Excellent natural foods deli, with a limited but high-quality menu.
A friend had touted it all year, so we hit it last week. Organic home-baked bread, organic veggies, great dressings, smoked tuna, tofu, honey lemonade/jamaica blend...so good on a hot day, all surfed out.
Sweet Brazilian surf chicky and her man run the place, and dole out huge, wholesome sandwiches and salads.
Not free (5.50 for a sandwich, couple bucks for a big drink), but healthy goodness rarely is.
Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Value: 4/5. Ambience: 2/5 (highway noise, poor seating).
