The 500 race is the first weekend in June. Contingency is Friday June 3rd and the race is Saturday June 4th.

The course is not out yet but from the Score web site it appears to be a ccw course from Ensenada. BFG pit 1 is at the north end of Erendira RM106, pit 2 at the rocks west of Trinidad RM187 and pit 3 at Jamau RM289 (access from hwy 3 at K109).

My thinking is to go down Thursday May 19 and camp at Ojos Negros for the night....start the run Friday about 7-9 AM and continue until about an hour before sunset...camp for the night and resume run Saturday early.....finishing in the afternoon.....I will then return home that evening...

Corky by best guess the course is mostly that of the 2003 500 but in reverse.

Yes Paul. My two brothers and I will be down doing our annual trip. This year my son and a friend of his are planning on coming too. That gives us two 4x4's We'll be glad to help any way we can. Another friend in a 4 wheeler asked me to help him but he's not sure if he's racing yet. Either way we can work something out. Right now we're planning on coming down Friday May 27th. If you need help prerunning let me know. Our annual trip is not to any planned place we just take off and play it by ear. We usually go somewhere we've never been before and some places we have.

Surely you jest, the Herbst have everything to do with this race. They either win or place in top 5 with both the Trophy Truck and the class 1.
