Thanks Bruce
It's really about helping the people but, if we ever manage to make some money doing bamboo, I will be right back in the mountains taking stuff and
teaching people about growing and using bamboo as an alternate to selling their land to those who like to develop.
Bamboo Parks for protection of natural areas, employment, materials, food, musical instruments, everything you can think of!
Baja Bamboo Do you bamboo?

I hope your venture is successful, JR.
Looks like some very nice stuff.
Also enjoying your more straight-forward style of posting. You have much to offer, if you don't turn people off.
Keep posting on your project as much as possible. And dont forget to work on a bamboo cot.....

JR: what about the water?
How much irrigation does it take to grow this stuff?
Will it do OK in salty or brackish water? Is there a way to use sewage effluent for your ag. water?
You're turning out some nice stuff; I want to drop by the next trip down.

Sewage yes
brackish, probably not. Wherever we experimented by the beach we failed, I think due to salt air. Not sure on the brackish though but unlikely.
It needs lots of water and very good drainage. We have drip irrigation set up everywhere and are experimenting with schedules.
Thanks for the compliments everyone. It is a lot of fun and just wait until we start on some of the furniture pieces and bridges.
I will take pics of everything as it happens and keep yall up to date.

JR, Looks like you are on to something wonderful. Best of luck. Before you know it the Gringos will be beating your doors down to get their hands on
these works of art. Ooops, do you have doors?

Thanks Me No
Nope, no doors yet. But gates and fences that hopefully are now staying closed after 3 times of the cows getting in and eating my bamboo.
It seems to be a new delicacy for these hungry critters. I told the neighbors that if they see me pull in with a load of hamburger buns on my truck,
hide their cows!
