We have a boat on the hard at Don Jose Abaroa's boatyard. So far no reports if any boats were knocked over there. Any information is greatly appreciated. I read Astilleros was affected.

Thank you for your report. We're hauled out of the water at Don Jose's a little further down from Abaroa's Marina. I can't get through to LaPaz and haven't read anywhere if any boats fell over while on the hard.

Damage at boatyards

Was there 2 weeks ago at Marina de la Paz (what's left) on my boat. There was NO damage at Bercovich or Abaroa's. All boats on the hard stayed on their stands. Keeping the furled sails off helped. Some anchored boats at Bercovich went ashore, docks at Abaroa's were trashed. Sounds like they are making Abel move his yard for the new hotel. Jack Swords

La Paz Boats

I didn't notice the name of the marina but it's most of the way to Pichilingue. This was about 2 weeks ago.
