Once / Doce

Marcello has worked with me now for about 6 months. He is intelligent, a hard worker, more honest than most anyone, and I trust him with everything. His nickname is "Scientifico" as his interests are many and he uses his noggin when it comes to building, repairing, etc.
One day I gave him an order for a table which had 4- 4" bamboo legs with 8 - 1"carrizo posts for design with a 4 " space between the carrizo posts and the legs.
When I returned from town, there was no space and 11 carrizo posts. I was pretty mad and decided that would be the last day that his friends were allowed at work. He apparently was distracted.
So, I am trying to square up the table at the other end when he says that it won't work. I ask why and he says because there are 12 posts on that end. I about had a fit!
WTF were you thinking cavron? Scientifico??? I don't think so!
So, the next morning I am trying to decide what to do with this unusual piece when Marcello comes to work. We discussed turning it into a baby crib since that's what it now looks like.
I say that the poor child will always be bugging Mom for pencil and paper to figure out what's wrong with the crib. 11-12 say it will be more valuable because the crib has a built in calculator and the child will be smarter.
How do you argue with that? Scientifico??

I prefer Once Doce!

And, he tells the same story to his friends and relatives. Human!

but couldn't find it. I reposted for SharksBaja as he asked about it in another thread. Sorry for repeating myself.

Hey, I hadn't heard it. Glad you re-posted it. Hey Jr, where are you located in Los Barriles? I thought when Noel make a trip to La Paz for shopping we might drop in and see you and your shop. We might even buy something. I know where Martin Verdugo's is and thats about it.

Right now I'm in Baja Norte

for a bit. But I'll let you know when I will be back in San Bartolo. Pure Mexican has a few things in Los Barriles which is in the plaza at the beginning of town on the left.
