Items needed in Baja and where

I have been coming to Baja for a lot of years but the last four years I have been coming down for two to three months each winter. This year I was planning on coming down the 1st of Jan. but with I have moved my plans up to Dec. 1st due to Marty. I drive my pickup from Oregon and in the past I have brought items that the locals could use. Because of Marty I am collecting clothes and school supplies so far. What I would like to know from any of you that are in touch with people in Baja is what do they need and where. I spend most of my time from BOLA south to La Paz . It would also be fun to run into any of you that will be in Baja this winter. Thanks

the small one room schools that you see in many of the small out of the way towns always appreciate pencils, pens, paper, rulers, maps and posters for the walls, pictures of Clinton and Al Franken ect.

Ha! For equal time, how about posters of Ronald Reagan and Rush Limbaugh (so the kids have some positive roll models, too)?

You're too funny, Max!

heee heee heee:)

No but I really was serious about the other items. I know that the proffe at our school is always extremly appreciative of those items. We have also given him some inexpensive calculators that he uses as incentive prizes for students with the best grades.

Items needed

Hey how about a poster of "Ozzie" and his family?? Oh My!! I have also taken clothes, supplies, and "candy" to Baja. The look on the childrens faces is worth the drive. I usually go to Muleg'e, Punta Chivato, San Francisquito, Bahia de Concepcion. However I am sure that the people of Baja need a little more help now due to "Marty" and others. Let's all keep up the good work!!
