El Rosario...Las Pintas....


Anybody plan on doing a side trip to LAS PINTAS ...I've never been there but wanted to see this area.....

It is a good option for a trip, or go there instead of the '3.5 hour' tour I outlined.

Go 14 miles from El Rosario to the Punta San Carlos road (KM. 80-81) and head south on it 18 miles. Take side road left (before crossing Arroyo San Fernando, at edge of cardon forest) past 'Malvar', and this road then drops into Arroyo San Fernando (see Baja Almanac)... take a side road left leaving Arroyo San Fernando and then the branch road right in a short distance....

The above is from memory... When I have time I will add the other milages and PS (which is in my GPS web page)... gotta go to work now.
