Retirement ducks in a row...
Anticipating semi-retirement living in Baja soon (Loreto) I'd like to line up services I hope not to need but just in case; I'd like to find a good
dentist and doctor.
I'm only interested in referrals with whom you or someone you know well has had direct personal experience(s).
I'd prefer in Loreto but would travel as far as La Paz if needed.
I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions, thanks in advance!

Dentist in La Paz
An absolutely excellent dentist in La Paz is Dr. Eduardo Talamantes Jr and/or Senior at Odontologia Integral.
He did some dental work for me and I was very satisfied with the experience. Their clinic has a very good reputation.
Problem is I can, at this time, only find the bill with the clinic name on it, and the Receipt has no address on it. I'll keep looking I know I have
his card somewhere.

Please post info of this kind here too. Many of us could use the names of good dentists or Drs. In our case La Paz or Los Cabos.
I just retired the other day, and we will be heading south soon. Yippee!

On the East Cape, I strongly recommend Dra Rosa Pe?a. She has done lots of work for me (root canals, replacing fillings, bridge, etc., etc.) at a
price much less than US prices, but with real quality. Call her at 624/142-6192. Nice lady.

I had a bad experience with Rosa Pena.
However I have found another dentist who is in San Lucas. Monica Donis...will post telephone number later if anyone is interested. She has the
cleanest dental office I have ever been in. Her English is good and she has a perodontist who comes in regularly. If anyone wants direction and/or
number, let me know as it is not easy to find.

Mywife and I had good experiences with our local dentist in Loreto,Dr. Velasquez. I had several cavities filled and teeth removed. She had cavities
done and also 2 crowns put in. Also Dr. Green our main medical doctor here ,is very competent and will refer you to very good specialist in La Paz if
the need arises.

I'm back again with that info re Drs. Talamantes:
Eduardo Talamantes Jr. Tel. 122.68.55 LaPaz..However, I think he may have moved to Tijuana. If so his father is EXCELLENT too and you may be able
to reach him through that number or through his sister....Lorena Estrada Talamantes Tel. 01 (1) 125-53-04...Altamirano No.222
(Brava y Ocampo)....she is also a dentist, but I cannot vouch for her personally.
