Field notes from the Baja Bamboo Park

When the day is done
and the velas are lit
It's time for me
to have a sit

I'm away fro my loves
In fact quite lejo
I'd say it's time
for a glass of A?ejo

The bamboo is planted
and growing for sure
Those trips to the ranchos
paid off in manure

Those chivas, vacas and who knows what's it
have done miraculous things
by taking a chit

Everything green
goes into their mouth
No wonder it's so fertile
here in the south

There's deer, havelina and various birds
Who coulda figured
my lifes about turds

My plants and bamboo
all seem to be happy
with my natural life
which at times
is quite crappy

But dealing with construction
and various critters
It's really a blessing
to just deal with these chitters

Wish I'd thought of this
when I was young
The beauty created
by a whole bunch of dung.

Hola JR,

For you to say your life is about turds
to me sounds just a little absurd

But if Bamboo is your life
and you'll never quit
Then my dear friend
your life is full of sh*t

I hear the whales song
