Westin Los Cabos or Sheaton Hacienda - Which one?

We've got enough Starwood points for a week and we'll be down in Cabo in mid-October. We plan on spending a lot of time at the pool/beach and will probably golf two or three times. We have a car and will most likely go into town in the evenings. Anyone care to suggest which one is better?

Never stayed at either, but they both look great to me----depends on what you are looking for-----try to access their web-sites for details. Just my thoughts.

My brother-in-law has stayed at both, and loves both of them.

The only difference is probably the landscape. At the Westin you have to take buses around as it is built on such a steep grade. The Hacienda is relatively flat

In general, Sheratons are hit or miss on quality, but Westins are a nearly always very nice.
