Mapa de Mulege

I have been helping Bruce with this map for some time now.

We need to get places of interest and buildings to correspond with the list below.

If some of you who know the town well could locate and otherwise make note and reply I will transpose the info later onto the map. Thanks.

It will be avail on Bruces' site.

Download may take a moment or two.

Thanks Pompano, lookin' mainly for favorite/important places or stores and such. I am also working on a interactive variation with links to photos etc. Pics would represent current or common features.
I can change any of those or resize/move the buildings with minimal future effort. Once a vectored map is made complete it is very easy to modify, given you have the proper software that supports the format.

In other words.....Yep, concise photos would be great. A photo for each listing is eventually what we're looking for. Bruce has to correlate and number the references for accuracy. We want to add some GPS link info later.

I can't confirm the street accuracy, obviously, and would appreciate input and feedback.

Thats not the FIRE station on the interstate, Thats the Red Cross, or used to be.

Great looking map....good work guys.

I think the best thing to do is when you get here to get to gather and drive around town and write them in .

It looks nothing like you remember, especially with Starbucks where the "yellow store" was and with the new Costco and Wallmart in place of the Orchards and Serenidad ! The lavamatica is now a 4-story Holiday Inn !
Did I mention the Hilton near the lighthouse and the bulldozers that have moved in at Coyote ?,

Thanks Roger I'll make the changes. Like I said, the map is in flux and it will take some time to get it unjumbled. The info was transposed from Bruces' old map and much needs to be refined. Again thanx for taking the time. Any help is appreciated.

Having written two

full color guidebooks (including 2 maps) for Playas de Rosarito while living here, I am thoroughly enjoying watching one being done for Mulege from Oregon!:lol::lol:

It wasn't that easy even living here!! Buena suerte Amigos!

Shoreline Maps of the Sea of Cortez

sure sounds like a lot more fun than my guidebooks were! Mine are both outdated but I have copies of each here. The rest are scattered amongst travel agents and tourists throughout the u.s., canada and japan.
We had an update almost completed right when they started the new Blvd. Popotla project so that changed everything.

My books started because I got tired of answering the same questions all day, every day at the Titanic Exhibit.
Where do we eat?
Where should we shop?
Where should we stay?

Hey Sharky, I see you don't have mi casa on your map. I'am however somewhat fearful of giving out my address. When your in the witness protection system, one never knows who is going to knock on your door. lets just say Im on calle Romero Rubio.

Immmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lake?? Lake Mulege? Oooh noo, not Alaska? Let's see, this cartography endeavor is being done by Bwana Bruce, who is in Colorado, but research is being done by Pompano, who is in Alaska, and being put together by Sharks, along the coast of Oregon.:lol::lol:

I see a humorous story in this somewhere along the line!:lol::lol:
