Is the West the Best?

Boy do I/we feel lucky not to be affected physically like the folks in the south and for that matter the "East".

Seems like most of the nations deep felt pains are clear of the west.
Knock on wood, we all have natural disaster woes.
The recurring cycle of large hurricaines looms over the entire south/southeast.
The earth and it's inhabitants are restless.
Not just here.
To me, Baja seems very tame by comparison, anyday.
