c-ckteleria Mazatlan

El Gato Loco... you are a lucky man! Wish I could be there with you on Saturday. My friend that was with me the day I met your group there will possibly be there, but I could not make it this time around.
Have a few for me!

It's not in the 'Real Baja', only Ensenada :P

Heading south into town you take the left fork in the road by the university. Stay on that road for about 3-4 miles thru residential area and then back into commercial zone. After about three or four lights it is on the right hand side with parking in back you can't miss it. It is a real treat, unless you dont like fresh seafood cold beer and friendly people!!

We should put together a gastronomic trip, No?

This last weekend we ate and drank our way all over the Roso-Ensenada zone.

Shrimp omelets and huevos rancheros con tocino at Anamar

Gourmet coffee/espresso at Nueva York Deli

Carne asada perones at Yaqui Taco

Cesar salad and Filet Mignon with chipotle and avocado sauce with Chef Johnny at Medio Camino washed down with KILLER hand made maggies with Herradura A?ejo

Carnitas at Flor de Michoacan with ice cold Negro Modelo and Dos Equis obscuro

Lobster and New York steak at La Fonda with a couple of bottles of Norman Vineyards Old Vine Zin

Chile Rellenos and Lobster burritos with a spinach and scallop salad with feta cheese and a balsamic dressing at La Palapa de Jose & maggies with Gran Centenario A?ejo hold the cointreau and a splash of Gran Marnier accompanied by live classical spanish flamenco guitar by Miguel De La Hoya and Maestro Gabriel

Tacos de pescado Y camaron with fish ceviche tostada at Rueben's

EAT, DRINK AND BE HAPPY!!!! :tumble:

Matt, you really did eat at all the hot spots, eh? I'm going to cut/paste all of those places and save it for next time.

Capt Mike - you must go to this place and start with the Almejas al Carbon along with a bucket of ice cold Pacificos (6 for the price of 5). You could easily spend a few hours at this place. Approaching from the North, you will see that this resturant is directly across from the bus depot, next door to a car wash on the West side of the road.
