Hotel in Mulege or Loreto

Any suggestions (based on personal experience) for a nice (but not that expensive) hotel to stay at overnight on our drive down this year?

In Mulege, I happen to like the Serenidad. Nice rooms and good dinner all under one roof.
I like the Coco Cabanas in Loreto, also. From any of the three you can walk to Pachumama for dinner....yummy.
After driving all day, I like to keep dinner simple and close. Thats just me.

Judy,

We'll be coming south in January.
If you promise not to tell my wife about the "Baja Ferry Tale" we could stop for a visit. Like kids ? 4 and 10 ? Where are you ? I'll drop them off !

As you go out of town, right before the Maria Isabel trailer park is the Questa Real. Never stayed there, but talked to people who have and said it was very nice and reasonable. They have a pool. I think I got the name right. I haven't had my coffee yet.

Any of those places that Pompano mentioned are ok.

Of all the Hotel Muleg? is the best.

Other options in this area

...would have to be Brenda's Casitas at the south end of Santa Rosalia and the El Morro just a little further south.

Brenda's is very nice and I think it is still around 60.00.
