NEED AN ANSWER FOR YOUR BAJA QUESTION? (then please read this)

You need to post in the forum covering that specific area of interest - or simply in the Q & A ("Questions & Answers") forum.

PLEASE.

Thank you for your consideration.

Hello Doug,

You no doubt posted this reminder in response to another poster's suggestion that a Q be also posted in General so it would have a greater chance of being seen & answered. I have often seen Qs go unanswered in the Q & A section..of this board and the old Amigos.

I originally fought the divding up of the boards because...who has time to checked out two boards? I wanted everything in one place so we could see the who & the what of the happenings.

Times have changed...boards have changed.....now we have more boards...on just Nomads... than we could ever use and people are still complaining they want more division! Too funny!

I, too have changed how I approach the board...it may work for others as well.

I changed the entry URL in my "Favorites" from General to "Today's Posts". This way, when I check in, a quick glance tells me who has been active and in which "room". It saves a lot of time, and I don't miss anything.

It works for me and it might work for others. So...divide away...I got it covered!

Mom always told me to be different - Now she says...Not THAT different

I also use the ?Todays Posts? feature, but I had a small problem with it until I found out that I can go to my personal profile/settings page and block out all posts by any members I wish. My setting is currently set to block out all posts by just one particular member, and this works great. However, I have to set this feature every time I log in; it is a bit of a hassle, but I think it is worth it.

When I try to post Deja Vu Pericu (Part 2) in the history section I get "Thank you, your message has been submitted." Any suggestions on how to solve this problem? - Thanks, bajalera

Hey Doug.... New Topic Category?

Hows about a new topic catagory called "Baja Battlefield". It would be well used and we would not have to view and participate in all the personal attacks and skirmishes on all the rest of the topics and posts. Just a thought....

Here is how you can Meme...

Just use your mouse to copy the URL for the thread (left click mouse and hold while dragging over the URL highlighting it, then right click mouse and click 'copy'), and then paste that into your email (right click mouse and click 'paste')...

Here is the URL for this thread (topic), from my mouse: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=1319

The upgraded software removed that feature. This issue was brought forward by others as well, and I've said that I will put in the effort to put it back in place (customize the new software)... but it will require some time to do so, and I'll have to get to it when I can.

Doug,
It would be neat to have a thread to talk about other places in Mexico besides Baja. Audrey and I are headed to Yucatan tomorrow and will spend the next 13 days in a rental car exploring the area. Getting out of Cancun as quickly as possible.;D

Just my 2c but I think this forum would befit by having fewer sub-forums. Any forum with less that 500 topics should be amalgamated into general. I think this is enough:

General
Photos
Trip Reports
Classifieds/Buy-Sell/Real Estate

Cheers,
