Site Tools

I would like to see in the tool bar, a heading Tools. This section you could go into and find out how to use the site. It would be nice to have instructions on how to add an Avatar, how to use the quote bar, how to post pictures, how to use smilies, The signature. Formatting mode, I have learned how to use some of these but not all, and I'm sure there are many people on this forum that do not know how to use these items and rather than ask just don't. Can this be done ?

It does not go into detail on all of the items I mentioned.

Wow, that is easy

But, I agree with comitan, there are some things to learn about this board.

Comitan------

I think your idea is great------there is so much I do not understand about this board, and others, for that matter. I certainly know very little about how to "do things" on this board, or with a computer, for that matter. I would love to have a "cheat sheet" to help me out.

My question: Some folks are able to show quotes from more than one person. The quotes show up, each in their own box, within the text of these folks' posts. How is that done? I can only get one previous post to show up as quote... if I 'go back' for another quote, what I've already written/quoted is deleted and over we begin. Quite frustrating, it is.... for me.

They didn't "add" all those quotes. If you scroll back you'll see that they are quoting someone who quoted someone who quoted someone who.... ad nauseam!
