A Glorious Day at the Beach!
64 on my porch this morning.
This is such a beautiful time of year here in San Jose. And today is no exception.
We saw our first whale of the season. Speaking of "the season", I realized that if you live in a resort you have a new element of time to deal
with....the season. If I had said the first whale of the year, I would have left out all the whales(100's) I saw in Jan, Feb and March of 2005. I
couldnt say the first whale of 2006, as that year has not arrived yet.
Anyway, he was about 300 meters off shore, so I couldnt tell what kind of whale, but his spout was a welcomed sight, then the tail.
One dead brown pelican, nothing to indicate what it died of....no mono-filament, fish hook in beak. A groups of about 10 live brown pelicans. I am
really glad to see them again. For some reason we didnt see any last season.
No swim as the waves were too big but the temperature is perfect for walking....no need to cool off.
What a wonderful way to start the day....
Thank you, Baja

Just don't drive into town and spoil it all, drove through San Jose yesterday I could not believe the traffic its much worse than La Paz, and all the
buildup haven't been there in a while I think they are trying to make a big city in a small area. Thier almost to the airport.

There has been talk about discontinuing the tolls on the cuota road to take the traffic away from San Jose. I think that it is a great idea, dont
you!
Also, be forewarned that there is a lot of repair work being done in and around San Jose, particularly on the 4-lane.

I know you live there and may love it, but you won't see me going through there again if I can help it. I remember when the condo's by that golf
course in town had a big banner $31,000 probably had a hard time then selling. I wouldn't even guess what thier worth now.

Well I live on the other side of the arroyo from San Jose and, you are right, I love it.
Those condos...I think you are probably talking about Laguna Vista...are going for around $125,000.
Do I love what is happening...............NO
