Punta Perico Hamachi

Rich, While waiting at SJD for a mechanical on our way home Sunday 10/19, I was talking to a spearfisherman who'd been on the East Cape for the preceding week. He said that there was a hard thermocline at Punta Perico with plenty of Yellowtail underneath.

I asked him if he knew you, and he said, "Yeah, I met 'Loco Rich' I was a ways out from the beach and I met him in his Tin Boat!"

He said there were "Plenty" of Ahi and Ono in "the Tuna Slide"

Sounded like he stayed at a house north of town, towards Pescadero.

Rich, This guy was headed home for a week before coming back down to Loreto next week. He lives in Castro Valley I think.
