La Playita, Punta Gorda, Los Zacatitos

We plan on visiting some friends that usually camp just beyond Los Zacatitos. We haven't been in that area for two years.....what's new in that area? How're the road conditions after hurricane Marty? It seems I read something about a new Marina being built somewhere down in that area; can anyone fill me in?

The East Cape road is very rough and, according to one of today's posts, cut at certain points. Water is still running high in the arroyos.

When I was there a week ago, you could run about 18 miles up the road past Playitas and that was about it.
