Motorcycle Journeys through Baja by Clement Salvadori
Can anybody tell me where I might be able to get a copy of this book? At a reasonable price of course.

No luck at Amazon or any of the other big bookstores. Can't find a copy at the library either. I did find it at 2 online places for out of print
books but I don't think I am ready to pay their price just yet. About $65 for a paperback. I don't think so.
Kenny
Edit: A used paperback at that.

Kenny------
Check back from time to time on half.com-----these books appear often-------it is strange that they say that "it is not available" in the "more info"
area, and not on the main page. Something is strange here.
Good Luck.

The book was published by Whitehorse Press and has recently sold out from the publisher. Clement is a long time friend and riding buddy, in fact we
met at the Hacienda in Mulege some 25 years ago and have spent many long days riding Baja back roads. My understanding is that the next version of
the guidebook will be combined with his California motorcycle guidebook in a single volume. While the book was aimed at motorcyclists I have always
felt that it was a good general guidebook for Baja travelers regardless of vehicle. And the guy in the photo with an upside down BMW is NOT me
although I will admit there is some resemblance. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it!

Any idea when the next version will be published? I just ordered the book on Ebay but with my luck, I will soon get an email saying it isn't
available.
Thanks for the info.

I think it is in the very early stages, Clement mentioned last week that it was time to hit the road to do the update. Most of the info in the first
edition is still timely.
