It is race day and we are packing up for the biggest tailgate party in Baja. We watched Dust to Glory last night and are more than ready for some action. We are going to BBQ fillets to go with the five alarm chile and Dos Equis. let the games begin.

Well, we figure the first bikes thru around 11-12 with the TT's a hour later so no rush. Just wondering how much action we'll see before dark. - tough course and lower than past average speeds expected.

Windy Day in San Felipe Area

The wind started freshening this morning at around 0200 hours. At present (1000 hours), it's blowing hard with sand everywhere. Many people in this area are revising their plans to go out to the course.

A little wind on the course is good for the racers and spectators by the course as it blows the dust away and improves visability.

1X - first bike - was 2/3 way to San Felipe at 945a.

Troy Herbst finished first in Class 1 and first overall. Average speed was around 46MPH. Bajalou was right. Shepard was the first Trophy Truck across and 2nd overall. It was a great day on the race course and I got a thumbs up from the Truggy as they went by. I was wearing a bright red Terrible T shirt.
